The IPTV helper from AT&T now has additional channels in HD. The U-verse service channels are HLN HD, Discovery Kids HD, truTV HD and Turner Classic Movies (TCM) HD which can all be entreeed by existent customer’s with a HD subscription. All U-verse TV packages include HD-ready equipment, and most include an HD-ready inviolable Home DVR.
AT&T have had a good commencement quarter, adding 231,000 subscribers for its IPTV service ‘U-verse TV’ in the first quarter of this year to reach a total of 2.3 million. This is on top of the 1 million customers added last year.
